Today I... um... forgot about maths, failed a mock maths test horribly, and didn't have to do anything in English because our teacher wasn't in. On top of that, some chavvy girl asked me out tomorrow. Gawd knows why, I think she's messing with me (I'm apparently 'fit' XD) but I'll still go down to meet her anyhow. *never been on a date before * |

Good luck.

| Girl didn't come after about 15 minutes- nothing bitching at random people doesn't allieviate later. ^^; Also installed Far Cry (had it on the old HDD, got new one and forgot about the game) and played for a while. Nothing to do all night, though I am getting me a bottle of Strongbow... |

Aww, I'm sorry to hear about your first date . Plenty more fish in the sea I suppose. Anyway.
Today I:
Finally finished my Chapter: 17 of my third little book (I don't know why but my two other books only have 11 chapters and my third little book is going to have about 20!?!?!), then I was asked by my mum to do this "Wallace and Gromit invention competition" because I'm really good at D.T , I'm still thinking of an idea for it though . Oh well, I'll get there in the end . And tonight I'm going to church with Mike. _________________

Today I found out that I did worse than Michael and Joe and pretty much everyone in a computing test. I'm still godly though. |

Well, if you think about it then the Mocks are kind of important, because they determine what level of G.C.S.E you'll be taking and studying. Eg: Say you were at intermediate level in, let's say, Maths. If you do really badly in the mocks then you'll be sent down to Foundation level, then the highest grade you can get is a "D", which just sucks foul eggs . _________________

Seriously... mocks do count for a number of reasons. One of then is that they give you the experience of a proper GCSE exam (and since you are the 2006 year, you'll be doing the papers we did as proper exams in 2005). There are other reasons. Why do you think your HOY might be lying?
Anyway.. did our reports in Computing. Apparently I am doing really well. Got me an A in the last internal examination we did (beats Alex's!) and also did some ICT work.
Oh, Omega 2, falling asleep at 5am in the morning is quite late... staying up on a school day is much worse. |

BUT I GOT AN A IN THE FIRST PAPER SO HAHAHAHAHA. *secretly whinges about doing badly* Mocks do and don't count. As they said, they do determine tiers, but if you're going to probably be doing higher in things, or pretty much defo gonna be doing foundation (basically if you're either extremely intelligent or... not XD) then it matters less.
I didn't revise at all though for them, so I can barely actually talk here. =P |
